Traditional Grade 2 Parisisal hood, woven from natural sisal fibres in the characteristic 2×2 twill (herringbone) weave that has made Parisisal one of the most popular and versatile millinery materials for generations. These lovely hoods are ideal for creating elegant occasion hats and fascinators, offering excellent blocking qualities and a refined, natural finish.
Available in a wide range of colours, these Parisisal cones measure approximately 28cm from tip to brim. The distinctive twill weave allows the material to be shaped beautifully while maintaining crisp lines and structure in the finished hat.
Fun Fact: You may notice more than one spelling of Parisisal. Whilst much of the international millinery world now uses the phonetic spelling "Parasisal", the traditional spelling "Parisisal" remains heavily favoured here in the UK, particularly around our historic hat-making hub of Luton. The name is traditionally said to derive from a combination of "Paris", the historic centre of haute couture fashion, and "Sisal", the natural agave fibres from which the material is woven.
As a natural woven product, slight variations in colour, texture and weave are to be expected.
