This hat base was a perfect colour match for my “mother of the groom” dress. I accented it with twists of sinamay bias and three gorgeous fuchsia pink goose feather flowers together with a matching headband to pick out the fuchsia colour also in my dress.
This was my first attempt at making a hatinator and although fiddly to sew the twists and flowers to the base, it was exactly what I wanted and so worth the effort!
