Traditional Millinery Buckram is a classic foundation material that has been used for generations to create the structure of hats, fascinators, headpieces, and bespoke millinery designs.

With an approximate weight of ~200gsm, this buckram is well suited for blocking hats and forming a wide variety of millinery shapes. Its versatile nature also makes it ideal for creating trims, embellishments, and decorative millinery elements. Once formed, it can be easily covered with materials such as silk abaca, silk, satin, polyester, lace, sinamay, and other decorative fabrics, providing a smooth and professional foundation for your designs.

Measuring 80cm wide and sold by the half metre, multiple quantities will be supplied in one continuous length wherever possible.

Please note: This product does not have an adhesive coating. Fabrics, trims, and embellishments will need to be attached using your preferred adhesive.
