Crin, also known as horsehair braid, is a versatile material widely used in millinery for creating hats, fascinators, and decorative trims. While traditionally made from natural fibres, this version is crafted from 100% polyester, offering a consistent, durable, and easy-to-work-with finish.
This crin features a fine edge thread along one side, allowing it to be easily gathered into elegant twists, loops, and sculptural shapes. The thread can also be removed for a smoother, flatter effect when required. Its lightweight yet structured nature makes it ideal for both bold designs and delicate detailing.
Available in a wide range of colours, this crin is sold by the metre and measures approximately 15 cm wide. Orders of multiple metres will be supplied as continuous lengths wherever possible.
